In winter the sound thickness of the ice preserves the crystal pure water of Baikal. Submerging into the water divers can see people standing on ice right above them. This is the time of the greatest ice transparency, the best period for driving to the very place of diving, the time of wonderful underwater ice mazes - do not miss this time! The Safari consists of two parts: the first part of diving safari takes place near Olkhon Island (ice fractures); the second part of the event is arranged on the South - Western shore of the lake (underwater canyons and ruptures).
The participants are requested international certificates of ice - divers or at least the standard international certificates that should be completed with practical training on lake Baikal (ice - diving training courses would be held for three days before the expedition) The participants can have their own diving equipment or it can be rented).
