Arrival to Irkutsk City. Meeting and assistance in the airport. Transfer (1,5 hour) to Listvyanka Settlement located on Lake Baikal shore. Check in your Hotel and lunch in a wooden water front restaurant. After lunch we invite you for an excursion to the Baikal Ecology Museum (*). Dinner. Leisure time. Russian Banya (steam sauna) experience upon request (optional service). Overnight.

* Baikal Ecology Museum exhibits the lake's unique displays of flora and fauna: stuffed animals, a rich collection of minerals, different kinds of fish and other organisms inhabiting the lake.

|
Breakfast. Leisure time that can be spend on sightseeing of the local attractions. Lunch in a cafe. In the afternoon all participants and guests are invited to the ice of Lake Baikal for the opening of Baikal Nordic Games Festival(*). Leisure time. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

The informal part of the Games includes an air-show, an authenticable Baikal shaman ritual, traditional Russian winter games and activities, fireworks display etc.

9 March
Sunday
|
The first event of the Nordic Games Festival starts early in the morning with Baikal Ice Marathon. After you wish good luck to the runners and finish your breakfast we offer you two options: the first one is to stay in Listvyanka and take part in the Great Orthodox holiday - Shrovetide; the second one is to take a bus transfer to Irkutsk to witness the next exciting event of the Nordic Games Festival (**). Return to your hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

* The total distance of Baikal marathon measures 90 km across the frozen lake from Listvyanka settlement to Sludyanka town.
** Snowmobile race will be held on the ice of Irkutsk reservoir.
